Having worked for over 4 years on research and development to produce a ‘semi-immersive, stereo 3D’ car configurator as part of a team supported by Ford, The Glasgow School of Art and the EPSRC we have an understanding of and ongoing desire to implement VR as a key tool for idea presentation, product development, education and training, collaborative design and entertainment. The required technologies are now relatively inexpensive and offer huge potential for a wide range of market/business sectors.
